The Work of Edward Durell Stone

Edward Durell Stone, was one of the most acclaimed architects of the 20th Century. The lecture will entail an overview of his work with a special emphasis on the work he did in California. Notable buildings designed by Edward Durell Stone include; the Museum of Modern Art in NYC (1939), the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi (1954), the U.S. Pavilion at the 1958 Brussels World’s Fair, & the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.
